A recent study visit in Shanghai, China, from 27–29 November 2024, facilitated knowledge exchange between South-East Asian and Chinese officials, strengthening the capacity of employment counsellors and enhancing South-South and Triangular Cooperation. Participants observed China’s successful public employment services management and delivery as well as its efficient intragovernmental coordination, and heard perspectives from both the public and private sectors.
